Philip Jackson is attached to play Daniel Senior,  husband of Sylvia and  grandfather of Daniel Junior.  Philip is known for My Week With Marilyn and Peterloo.

Sandi Toksvig ia attached to play Muriel, the church organist.  Sandi is well known for QI and Great British Bake-Off as well as appearances in Call the Midwife.

Frances Barber ia attached to play Daphne, a member of the church choir.  Frances is known for Mr Holmes and Sammy And Rosie Get Laid.
